Questions about 3CX-based NGX Cloud PBX
3CX is an IP Phone Switch that works with IP Phones, Softphones for Windows, Mac, Web, Android and IOS. It can be installed either on-premises or in the cloud. It is a simple, inexpensive and flexible system. A complete Unified Communications solution, including web conferencing, presence, softphones, smartphone apps and more, without the cost and difficulty of managing a traditional telephone switch or the limitations of analog telephony.
NGX Cloud PBX works 100% by Internet, the extensions of the users, either in physical telephone or softphone will always require Internet to link the calls. That is why good quality Internet access is necessary, in most cases where there are no more than 25 users you can use low-cost links of good quality, either Axtel, Total Play, Megacable or Telmex Infinitum. For implementations of more than 25 extensions it is recommended to use dedicated links. Remember, the quality of calls is directly related to the quality and saturation of your network and your Internet link.
We recommend that you use good quality switches and install a router / firewall to limit the bandwidth of your users.
